Is a women’s community in Amsterdam since 2023.
Femininity Community began, because our founder Linda Horsta had a hard time to make deep caring relationships with women in the Netherlands.
She had moved here in 2021 and had tried to create new connections. Some succeeded, many didn’t. She tried going to women’s circles and other women’s events as she missed a women’s community sensation.
So the idea for ‘femininity community’ was born when Linda realised she can’t find an event that goes as deep as she likes.. so perhaps she has to start one.
“I wanted to have a safe space to share deeply and not hurry.
I wanted to be a part of an international community of mindful women in Amsterdam. And I liked to dance..
After struggling to find what I wanted, I decded to create it myself.”
And so Femininity Community was born.
From the very 1st event it was clear Linda wasn’t the only one who craved for spaces like this.
So we facilitate a space for impactful sharing and getting to know new women and we also dance at some events.
We meet every month to:
- Ecstatic dance (connect to our body, drink cacao, do rituals, ecstatic dance, share in circle),
- Community meetup (to get to know each other and talk deeply about meaningful topics, create new friendships),
- Special events (Empowerment Moment workshop, Women’s Day event, Equinox rituals, Women’s circles etc.)
We receive & give support.
We say what we feel as it is.
We dance & connect to ourselves.
